I think this is very cool. It isn't so different getting ready for a tournament today, except for me it is a much smaller scale. I'm posting more than clothing since it is so interesting. Anyone know what "french styche' might be?

From the Journal, The Antiquarian repertory: a miscellaneous assemblage of topography, history, biography, customs and manners, volume 4, 1807 - 1809
This appears to be the inventory list of Henry Percy, 5th Earl of Northumberland, prepared for his voyage in June of 1513 with Henry VIII, for the siege of Therouanne and the Battle of the Spurs.

These be the parcells of Stuffe follwying, which were prepared for my Lord and D. men at his Retenew, when his Lordship went ouer See wth his Prince.
